Amboro ecological reservation

2days/1night or 3days/2nights packages  

You drive from Santa Cruz through agricultural areas to this National Park. Walk the jungle trails and watch the typical local fauna and flora with a guide specialist in ecology.
In the 3d/2n program we also include a second day boat ride on the local river. Overnight(s) at one of the two local hotels. Meals included.

Bolivian Pantanal

4days/3nights package

DAY 1:  Flight Santa Cruz - Puerto Suarez on the Brazilian border. Arrival transfer from airport. P.M. explore the area. Overnight at the Hotel Pantanal (5*) Meals included for two nights.
DAY 2: Visit the Motacusito Caves and Santa Tecla wafer fall which is located in the rain forest. See monkeys, iguanas toucans, humming bird’s, etc. Return along the shores of Caceres lagoon.
DAY 3: Full day experience on the Paraguay River. See tropical birds, capybaras an other species of the local fauna.

DAY 4: Transfer to the airport for the return flight to Santa Cruz.

Chalalan National Reserve

4days/3nights and 5days/4nights packages

The Chalalan eco-lodge is located within the Madidi national preservation, one of the largest in South America. This lodge and Madidi reservation was emphasized in 28 full color pages in the March 2000 issue of the National Geographic Magazine. Local people manage the project created by international Eco Organization.

The program includes La Paz – Rurrenabaque by plane, speedboat to Tuichi River and at Chalalan lodge, many activities such as observing and exploring the surrounding unspoiled fauna and flora with local native guides. You can watch birds and mammals and specially learn the secrets of the jungle, the life of the local tribes and the medicinal plants used by these people.

The Unique Salt Lake

Experience the highest and largest Salt Lake in the world (10.000 Km2) surrounded by an impressive panorama. On its edge, visitors can see natives extracting salt with lost in time methods. Drive across this salt flats to “Isla Pescado” an oasis, where you can find unique flora and fauna, which was completely isolated for thousands of years by a vast plain of salt.

Ex Potosi - Salt Lake of Uyuni

2days/1night 

DAY 1: Depart Potosi and drive to Uyuni. On the road you visit the villages of Chaquila and Tika Tika. After lunch, in Uyuni, you visit the local old trains’ depot. Continue to Colchani to see the artisans working on iodized salt. Transfer to the local rustic “Palacio de Sal” built entirely of salt. After dinner you walk in the surroundings of the hotel to watch the sparkling stars and the impressive panorama. Overnight and meals at this hotel.

DAY 2: After breakfast drive through the great salt flat and watch some cold water springs "Ojos de Agua" to Isla Pescado. Visit and walk around it to admire its huge cactuses. Box lunch and in the afternoon return to Potosi.

Ex Potosi - Salt Lake of Uyuni

3days/2nights

DAY 1: Depart Potosi and drive to Uyuni. On the road you visit the villages of Chaquila and Tika Tika. Box lunch on route. Arrive the Salt Lake and cross it to the village of Jirira, at the base of the Thunupa Volcano. Dinner and overnight at local native hotel.

DAY 2: After breakfast climb the Thunupa Volcano to enjoy a breathtaking view of the Salt Lake. After lunch transfer to one of the rustic hotels "Palacio de Sal" o Bahia Blanca", the only ones in he world built entirely of salt. Night walk to watch the sparkling stars.

DAY 3: After breakfast visit the "Isla Pescado" and its unique flora. Drive back to Potosi. Box lunch on route.
